Purpose
Studio Vocal 808 provides quality vocal instruction to students and artists of
all ages, levels, and musical styles. Cat Wong, founder, is dedicated to
bringing vitality- life, energy, élan vital- to the voice while offering specific
focus- proper vocal technique and direction, to guide each person to sing in
his or her own best, natural voice.
Who do we invite?
Beginning, advanced, as well as professional singers. In short, anyone
interested in improving vocal and artistic ability- whether for the purposes
of singing in church, on stage, karaoke, as a recording/performing artist,
or to simply experience the joy of singing with family and friends.
Note regarding young children: dependent on maturity level, attention
span, experience, and patience, half-hour lessons are recommended.
Age 7 or 8 with some vocal coordination recommended to start. Call Cat
with questions.

Location
Studio Vocal 808 is located in the heart of the Chinatown business district
at Chinatown Gateway Plaza, a pink residential high-rise on the cross of
Bethel and Hotel Street. It is walking distance from Hawaii Theater, Macy's
downtown, and a host of other nightlife/dining places such as Indigo, Red
Elephant Cafe, Next Door, and Soul de Cuba.
There is metered parking on Bethel, King, and Nuuanu. Public parking is
available at $.75 per half-hour up to 2 hours on Bethel Street (left side).
